Your guide will explain the life of these wonderful animals to you and their struggle to remain on the planet, and how you can assist them. For those who may not choose to walk on the beach , the board walk is available and it commands a wide view of the entire beach. On our way out from Seal Bay we will stop to spend time with the Birds of Prey, seeing these raptors flying free and feeding from their trainer is a truly memorable event. As we head further west we will stop at Vivonne Bay for lunch . After lunch we continue to Flinders Chase, Remarkable Rocks and the Admirals Arch, two of the highlights of Kangaroo Island. We now travel back to Kingscote, have dinner and prepare to view the penguins as they come ashore for the evening. This is a guided tour, with interpretation. Day 3 We start our day by traveling to Cape Borda, have a tour of the light house, learn the harsh truth about the early days of sailors and explorers in this area, call in to Harvey’s Return on the way back to see where the stores were unloaded for the light keepers. Closer to Parndana we stop at the Parndana Wildlife Park, a privately run facility with large numbers of native birds and animals which are maintained by the owners Russell and Shirley Ross. Emu Bay beckons , so we move further along the north coast to Wisanger School , just to show you how it was here over 100 years ago. Now onto the longest beach on Kangaroo Island. Years ago this was a loading facility for the ketches servicing the rural communities of South Australia, now a splendid holiday community serviced by the township of Kingscote.
